Emerging from the world of images, Amelie Bonnin, a graduate in graphic design (Olivier de Serres in Paris, UQAM in Montréal) and screenwriting (La Fémis), brings stories to life from her practice of design, drawing, and video. She is the art director of La Déferlante magazine, and documentary filmmaker, known for her works: La Bande des Français (France 3, 2018) and La Mélodie du Boucher (Arte, 2013). Originating from the world of words, Dimitri Lucas, a graduate in screenwriting (La Fémis), has been a scriptwriter and advertising creative writer for the past 10 years (Nike, Citroën, Caisse d’Epargne, 30 million d’amis, Parions Sport, amongst others). Together, Amélie and Dimitri fuse their intimate sensibilities to the visual and the narrative to create films that transform words into images. Their first short film, Partir un jour (Arte, 2021), received more than 35 awards, 100 nominations, and won the Best Short Fiction Film award at the César 2023.
